Hazelton first redfish sight casting!
My wife and I had the biggest
surprise on our last stay at Bluff's anyone could
ever have! On our Sunday morning of checkout, we got
in a few hours of fishing. To our surprise we saw
rolling tarpon. Looked to be maybe 20. We got into
casting distance using the trolling motor and my
wife Jonell fired the first cast. She hooked up with
a good four to five footer and got him all the way
to the boat only to have him spit the hook at the
last moment. Cast number two was another hookup and
a cut off. While she was getting another rod out, I
casted and hooked up with this one in the photo.
Unfortunately this was the only one we got in the
boat, and that was the end of the rolling tarpon. As
always, our stay at Bluff's was great and our
fishing on this trip was probably a trip of a life
time! Hope ya'll enjoy the photos.
