1st South Texas Redfish “Shoot-Out”

June 12, 13 & 14, 2009

 

 Tournament Rules

·          All fish must be alive.

·         2 Man Teams/2 Fish Limit Per Day

·         Fish must be over 20” and under 28” to qualify.  No oversized redfish allowed.

·         Entry Fee: $500.00 per team.  Registration Deadline: June 5, 2009

·         Each angler must catch his/her own fish to weigh in (1 fish per angler per day)

·         Artificial lures only

·         In case of a tie, length of the fish will determine the winner.  In case of a second tie, girth of fish will determine the winner

·          “Big Fish Pot” is $100.00 per team (covers two days)  – 100% pay-out

·         Fishing Boundaries – Aransas Pass South to Marker 21 Land Cut South

·         All Winners (to include 1st, 2nd, & 3rd) will be polygraph tested.

·         All Weigh Master decisions are final

·         Rules meeting on June 12, 2009 at Bluff’s Landing Hotel   5:00 PM – 8:00 PM, late registration will be accepted during that time. (Food will be served at meeting) Late Registration Fee: $550.00

·         Weigh-In:  June 13, 2009 – 2PM/4PM and also June 14, 2009 – 1PM/3PM

·         To Qualify all Anglers must be inside Marina Basin by 4PM on June 13, 2009 and by 3PM June 14, 2009, no exceptions

·         Safety equipment will be worn

·         Number start with #1 on June 13, 2008 and number start with last entry on June 14, 2009

·         All fishermen must stay 150 yards away from other anglers.

·         Tournament will take place on date scheduled

·         All Angler Teams must check in on mornings of June 13 & 14, 2009 before departing.

·         All fish weighed in must come from boat live wells at weigh-in station.

·         All protests must be filed with the Tournament Director (Roger Viar) by 2:30 on June 13, 2009 and by 3:30 on June 14, 2009

·         All Texas Parks & Wildlife regulations will apply

BLUFF’S LANDING MARINA & LODGE, AND ALL IT’S EMPLOYEE’S WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ACCIDENTS OR INJURIES DURING THE BLUFF’S LANDING “1st SOUTH TEXAS REDFISH SHOOT-OUT”.
